US and Colombian armed forces held high-level defense talks in the port city of Tumaco on Thursday. The talks focused on joint intelligence, reconnaissance, and security operations aimed at dismantling local narco-terrorist networks. The coalition strategy is executed under the broader regional Americas Counter Cartel Coalition, which includes regional partners like Ecuador, Peru, and Argentina.
